Novo focuses its investments on opportunities with significant profit and growth potential within the following areas:

Investment range

Novo's typical investments are as equity ranging from 1 to 15 million Euro. We may invest at any stage of development of a business idea - from seed capital over private placements to IPOs and public companies. We may invest in any part of the world.

In extraordinary situations we may provide funds on a smaller scale for embryonic start-ups.

Novo aims to be an active, however, typically minority shareholder and a long-term partner, who can provide value-adding support through our extensive network and active participation on the board of directors level.

Exit strategy

Due to the structure of our fund we can justify making investments with a long-term perspective. However, optimising the exit strategy is of course critical for our return on investment, and on a case-by-case basis, in dialogue with the portfolio company, we will determine the right approach. Typical exit strategies could be an IPO, a trade sale or a merger.
