Colours

Colour is a powerful means of visual expression. Distinctive use of specific colours is a key element of our visual identity, helping to build and reinforce brand recognition.

Our corporate colour is Novo dark blue. This is supported by a secondary palette of ten vibrant and soft colours to create impact and generate appeal.

Colours vary in shade and intensity according to the chosen media. Specifications are given for all key print and screen applications.

Pantone colours and the Pantone Matching System (PMS) are the agreed worldwide standard for specifying colours. Pantone specifications for coated and uncoated applications are given below.

When it is not possible to print a solid Pantone colour, check the equivalent match using the specified percentage breakdown of Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y) and Black (K) of the four colour print process (CMYK). Some solid PMS colours can be matched closely; others can create a less vivid or intense result.

RGB breakdowns should be used for screen-based applications.

RAL specifications are given for colour used on signage, vehicles and uniforms.

The colours featured on this page and throughout this site are not intended to match the PANTONE®* Colour Standards. The colours shown are Novo colours. In lieu of the Novo colours you may use the PANTONE® colours as indicated.

The standards of the PANTONE® colours are shown in the current edition of PANTONE® Colour Formula Guide. The PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® is a worldwide printing, publishing and packaging colour language for the selection, marketing and control of colour.
