Tom Burt joined Novo Growth Equity as an Associate in January 2010. Tom's responsibilities include valuation analysis, commercial assessment and due diligence of investment opportunities.

Prior to relocating to Copenhagen, Tom was a member of Piper Jaffray's European Healthcare Investment Banking team for over three years. Whilst there, Tom was involved in deal origination across the European biopharm space and participated in several M&A and equity fundraising transactions.

Before Piper Jaffray, Tom spent four years as a member of GlaxoSmithKline's Biopharmaceutical CEDD, where he investigated the design and scale-up of processes for the production of DNA vaccines.

Tom holds an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Biochemical engineering from University College London. He also holds a masters degree in Biochemical engineering and an honours degree in Biotechnology.
